Thanksgiving (Canadian or American) is one of those iconic meals full of familiar smells and flavours wtih everyone gathered happily (hopefully!) around a table full of everyone's favourites. To add to the joy of the occassion, here's a cranberry sauce to help keep the added sugar out of your day. Sure opening a can of cranberry sauce is technically easier, but 1 serving will add over 20g of sugar to your turkey dinner. This one can be made in advance and chilled in the fridge or kept over a low heat until ready to serve.
