Candied Pecans

 

Admittedly not as crunchy as the candied pecans you'll find in the store, but at least they have no added sugar and they'll add sweetness to a salad, can be included in a trail mix, or sprinkled on a mug cake.

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375F.
  2. Whip egg white vigorously with a fork until frothy.
  3. Add the remaining ingredients and toss to coat the pecans.
  4. Spread pecans evenly on a baking sheet and bake for 8 - 10 minutes until dry and slightly browned.
  5. Allow to cool slightly before serving. Store in airtight container.
