Peppermint Hot Chocolate
Yield: 1 Servings
Cook & Prep Time: 5 minutes
This recipe was invented by a colleague of mine and let me tell you, she struck gold. This recipe tastes like a decadent, peppermint hot chocolate you'd get at a local coffee shop, but without the sickly sugar overload. The clean flavour of the peppermint shines through the rich chocolate notes making it taste like a real treat.
- 1 peppermint tea bag or 1 Tbsp peppermint tea leaves
- 1 mugful of boiling water
- 1 Tbsp Sweet Cheat Velvety Rich Hot Chocolate mix
- 1 Tbsp heavy cream
Boil water and steep tea bag or tea leaves for 3 - 5 minutes (depending on how strong you like it.
Remove tea leaves and stir in Sweet Cheat Velvety Rich Hot Chocolate to mix.
Stir in heavy cream and enjoy. Top with Sweet Cheat Vanilla Whipped Cream if desired.
