After creating a recipe for Sweet Cheat Frozen Hot Chocolate, I got a lot of comments from people loving the “grown up” version with Irish Cream. That got me to reminiscing about the Frozen Mudslide drinks I drank in University.
The original recipe calls for both Kalua and Irish Cream. Delicious, however not low sugar by any stretch of the imagination. I thought there had to be a way to create a low carb, no sugar version. Guess what, I did it!!!
As excited as I am about this recipe, I figured that people following a keto, or other low carb or low sugar lifestyle would love it too. It’s only 1g net carb!
All this one takes is a few ingredients and a blender (or not, if you prefer no slush).
Combine. Mix or blend. Drink.
Just in time for the weekend.
Ingredients
- 2 Tablespoons Sweet Cheat Chocolate Milk
- 1.5 oz vodka
- 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 Tablespoons heavy whipping cream
- 1/3 cup cold coffee
- 1 cup ice cubes
Instructions
For a slushy consistency, place all ingredients in a blender and thoroughly blend.
Alternatively, place ice cubes in a glass. Whisk together remaining ingredients and pour over ice.
