With the heady smells and slightly spicy taste of cardamom, cinnamon, ginger, allspice, and cloves... chai gives you all the warmth you want when the air is chilly. 

A chai latte at your local coffee shop can have 42g of sugar or more… well beyond the amount of added sugar anyone should have in a day and that’s just in one drink! Here’s a sugar-free version you can make and enjoy in the comfort of your own home.


  • 1 chai tea bag
  • 1/2 - 1 teaspoon Sweet Cheat Spoonable Monkfruit (adjust as necessary for the sweetness level you prefer!)
  • 1/2 cup milk of choice warmed (froth if you have a milk-frother)
  • Nutmeg or cinnamon for sprinkling on top



Steep the tea bag in 3/4 cup freshly boiled water. 


Remove tea bag and stir in Spoonable Monk Fruit.


Top up with warm milk and sprinkle with nutmeg or cinnamon.
